Hello, there! My name is Richard Janes. I'm the author of Gus The Garbage Truck and I loved garbage trucks when I was a kid. So, too, did my children, Finn and Ella. They loved it when the garbage trucks would pull up outside our Los Angeles home early in the morning, and they especially loved it when I told them bedtime stories of Gus and his friends.

After some gentle prodding from my fantastic family, I decided to start writing down these stories so that other people can enjoy them. I have well over 25 adventures to get down on paper, but you will have to bear with me as I squeeze in the time to get them all down on paper.
